The Sarasota County Medical Society Alliance is an organization of physicians’ spouses that offer patient education, health promotions, physician-friendly legislative advocacy and medical-family support.  As a non-profit agency, the Alliance is run by volunteer boards donating their time for the betterment of Sarasota county physicians.

The Alliance encourages membership that supports a worthwhile organization who are supportive of each other and their families and who understand the uncertain road we all have ahead.  Membership helps bring physician families together and keeps the spouses informed of legislative issues affecting us all.

The Alliance provides the following:

• General educational meetings to accommodate a wide range of interests;
• Bi-annual fundraisers to benefit our Foundation - Fall Fling and Family Spring Picnic – these events offer a fun opportunity for physician families to meet and socialize;
• Two monthly social clubs (one in the day time and one at night);
• Coveted SCMSA Directory containing home/cell phone, and home addresses and e-mail addresses of all members of the SCMSA as well as physicians in the Sarasota County Medical Society is an added bonus to membership.
